( KILL LOG - WEEK 1, JASON )

[There are fifteen minutes left before 7:00 AM. The bedrooms are filled with the hum from the air conditioner units, and the wind has begun to pick up outside. Still — everyone should be safe and sound in their bedrooms, sleep claiming them for yet another hour.

Well... mostly everyone. But close enough, right? Not that it truly matters. This week's sacrifice is still asleep and so are his roommates, and that's the important part.

It's time to get to work, Mira.]

[There is a reason Mira has been able to get away with all the murders she's committed over the years. Even with Jason's training, she moves quietly and carefully enough that he doesn't even realize there's a fourth person in the room until it's too late. Suddenly jolted awake by the lack oxygen, he blindly gropes around, reaching for his neck in an attempt to remove whatever is constricting his airflow. Mira's grip is tight enough that he can't cause much of a racket with his voice, but one of the cushions is getting kicked off the sofa in the process, limbs flailing as he tries to twist around.

Kind of a pity his fate is sealed, isn't it? Blood sacrifices are a powerful thing. Strong enough to keep his roommates asleep, blissfully unaware of that which they don't need to hear or see. And in the middle of Jason's struggling, he might end up clawing at "Hana's" hands once he realizes there's no point in trying to rip off the wire. Blood may or may not be seeping out of a small cut around his neck, and he manages to croak one thing out—]

["Stop." How cute.

Too bad it's only a matter of seconds before he loses consciousness again... And then the inevitable will happen.]

[Watching him squirm, while not really her thing, is quite enjoyable. She remembers when she was a little child and killed a stray cat that hung around the alleyway of her apartment building. She clutched its neck and strangled it, as it wriggled and squirmed around to try and escape her grasp. Jason reminds her of that cat right now - even the way he gets tiny scratches on the hands, a sad attempt to fight back. Both are inconsequential to her.

Once he finally falls unconscious she continues to strangle for another minute. It should be safe now. She loosens her hold with the wire and moves around to the side of his body, tilting her head down to press an ear to his heart. It isn't beating anymore. How sad. Fingers twitch and she realizes the swelling urge to get something to cut him open and grab his heart bubbles. However she must resist. For now, she will hold herself back.

She uncoils the piano wire from his neck, fingers lightly grazing the blood that seeped out of the wound as she does. It can't be too obvious to Hana that the her fingers have blood on them. She might try to wash it off if she does see it. The tiny scratches may not be missed, but it should become more obvious where they came from if they also check Jason's fingers. There's a tiny bit of blood on them - good. She only has about ten minutes left. Satisfied with the state of the body, she turns around and pushes herself back through the mirror to get to Room 111.

[When she returns to her room, her first step is to hide the piano wire under her bed. It will have blood on it still, and it should dry up fairly quickly. Then she grabs an unused wired coat hanger from the closet and opens the door, carefully moving the knob to not make any loud sounds. Thankfully Hana and Jason are right across from each other, so this won't take long. She uncurls the hanger and scratches it where the keyhole is, even pushing the tip of the wire inside in a false move to make it seem like the door was picked open.

Once satisfied with the damage, she turns back to her room and this time purposefully makes the opening sound a bit louder than the previous one. She thinks the roommates stir a little and that's enough for her, as she goes back to the closet and tries to set the hanger back (though intentionally not making it quite as nice as it should be) before putting it on the rack with the others. That should cover everything.

Her time limit is just about up after all of this though. It's not the most elegant crime, but it should be enough to convince them who the best scapegoat is. "Hana" moves back into the bed, and pulls the covers over herself. Before she wasn't really that interested. Now? She has to contain the bubbling feelings that threaten to burst out. She's excited. Excited to see the look on this girl's face when everyone turns on her. What expression is she going to make? How will she sound? She doesn't know, but she's excited to learn. It's going to be a real experience.

These pleasant feelings overwhelm her, and she sighs in content. Mira leaves the body and returns to her own.
