Upon entering the Dining Hall, each survivor will be given a cheque folder. Open this "gift" up to discover, not a receipt, but a list of names with check boxes on the right side. The list, aptly titled VOTING SLIP, contains the name of each of the surviving residents. Strangely enough, an additional option is available in the form of a write-in vote. Residents who opt for this option only need to write the name of the person they wish to vote for in a blank space that's already provided by the slip, and check the box next to it. As long as a pencil is used instead of ink, votes can be changed at any time. However, please do keep track of time. As soon as the clock strikes 9:00, the faceless men will retrieve the cheque folder and the voting slip of everyone present during the trial. It is mandatory for everyone to cast a vote. [After the trial has ended and Hana has been escorted away, a ballot box will be placed on one of the tables in the middle of the Dining Hall. A neat stack of voting slips will be set down next to it, along with a pen for those who have misplaced their pencils. True to Craftly's words, these voting slips are titled EXECUTIONER.

Unlike the previous voting slips, however, there are only five names on these ones. There is no write-in option for those who wish to take a sixth route.]
