On Sunday night, as soon as the grandfather clocks mark 6:00, a voice will speak to you. The tone may vary from person to person, the voice's pitch shifting and changing to suit her facilitators's needs — but the words will remain the same. Similarly for all those who can hear it, they'll suddenly find themselves captivated by it. "Come now, little ones. It's time to partake." And just like that, you find yourself drawn towards the nearest mirrored surface on the wall, somehow managing to avoid calling the attention of anyone who might be in the room with you. Though this is your first time participating in the ritual, knowledge still floods your mind. A light press of your hand against the mirror, and you will find yourself capable of stepping through the previously solid surface and into the shrine room. Here, you find yourself accompanied by two (2) other individuals. And though your handler can't be physically among you, you still feel her presence enveloping you and saturating the air in this room. Glance up, and through the glass ceiling you'll be able to see her in all her glory. It seems it's time for this week's sacrifice to be chosen. Aw, you're not going to miss her are you? [Mira chuckles.] You can kill Percival next time if you wanna get back at me.

"Miss" is a strong word. [He shrugs.] Noted, but I don't think it'll be necessary.

[perceptions]

It's ok to admit attachment, Girge. We're human after all.

[Even she can admit she misses Eric, despite being the one to kill him.]

[disinterested]

We're also a group of humans murdering everyone else in cold blood for the sake of our own desires.

[aka nope, you're not getting any admittance out of him.]

[perceptions]

So? That's just the way of the world. There are more ways to destroy someone than to take their life.

[disinterested]

I really hope you're not suggesting that Yukina's death would harm me in some manner.

[perceptions]

No, I don't think you're like that. You wouldn't be here with us if you would be harmed by the loss of another. But when someone you often see is gone from your life, and you know they won't be coming back... that absence is a loss.

[And if she sounds truly genuine for the first time, it's because she thinks of Eric and realizes that she misses him. Even though she has no regrets about what she did... it's still strange to know he won't be around.]

[disinterested]

[There's a pause, before Girge lets out a light laugh.]

You don't have to explain that much to me. I'm not that stunted.

[He understands. All too well, though his experience in the matter—and how it relates to certain details of his contract with the Unclean—may be the complete opposite of Mira's.]

Well, we'll see what happens.

[perceptions]

Guess so.

[She knows she's pretty stunted emotionally, and it makes her the person she is now. Maybe one day she would like to change, but she can't do that unless she figures out how to be a normal person. Collecting hearts gets her closer to being a normal person, and so she does it in the hopes of reaching that goal.]

Sorrrry to interrupt the emotions talk, or whatever, but using someone like Yuki-chan might seem a little weird!
