For this week, there will be no sudden loss of control for those who have signed their souls away for the greater good. As long as they're in the Curio Shop by 6:05 PM on Monday, nothing out of the ordinary will happen. All they must do is knock on the shop's door, carefully as if to not draw attention towards themselves, and the door will creak open by itself much like the previous week. As per usual, inside this strange room they'll find Craftly seated at a round table. Shelves of antiques line the walls and the smell of peppermint tea wafts through the air. A thin tendril slips across the table from Craftly's sleeve, hooking around his cup of tea. As smug as ever, he smiles to the group. "Come in, Hunters. It's time for us to begin". Welcome, Hunters! I wonder what happens if you raise someone's GPA?

He might be a Sacrifice, but s'not a good idea to trust someone who is willing to put someone in extra danger for. . . hell, why would he target Akane like that?

If lowering it puts someone in danger, then raising it must keep them safe somehow.

...he might have been trying to figure out how it works. But, that does make one wonder... why he chose to lower it instead of raise it.

He might try raising it this week then. He seems smart enough to at least be thorough with his investigation.

I hope that's true. I'd much prefer him use his role to help people, not hurt 'em.

[Suddenly, something he told her awhile back makes so much more sense.]

He said if there was anyone I thought might be after me... I should let him know who. [...so it sounded like he was willing to use his power to help her? Maybe?] He didn't tell me he was the Teacher at that time, of course, but... he seems willing to cooperate with me, so maybe I'll have some luck.

Someone with that skill would definitely be a useful ally for us. if we discover who a Prophet is, we could ask him to lower their GPA.

[. . . god every time they bring up using one of the Sacrifices to kill a Prophet, Kaito dies a little on the inside. he's a master of manipulation, being a magician and all, but it still feels so wrong!]

Yeah. All Yukina has to do is tell him she's worried about the Prophet targeting her.

Either that, or he might raise my GPA... we'll find out one way or another.

[She purses her lips.]

...I don't like what he did to her. But maybe... he didn't know exactly what it would do. We'll... we'll find out.

Let's give him The benefit of the doubt for now.
